Rampant Multimedia uses Macromedia Flash to create CD-ROM presentations that are superior to ones created with applications such as PowerPoint. These CD-ROMs will run on PC or Mac computers, and may include animations and web-like navigation that allow the presenter or viewer to easily jump to non-linear points in the presentation. We can edit and integrate background music or sounds. We can also work with web application developers to integrate back-end functionality.

Determine goals for the presentation |

Develop page map |

Look at a total overview of the information available or needed to fulfill the presentation, and make a list of the sections and pages that will split that information up logically. Page shell design |

Once the page map is complete, the basic look of the pages is graphically designed. This is called the “shell” and refers to the elements that appear on most or all of the pages, such as page headers, navigation buttons, type styles, etc. |
Content creation |

Content refers to elements that are unique to individual pages. Text must be written and/or edited. Line art graphics such as logos must be provided or created. Photos must be provided or taken, then digitized. |
Photo and graphic preparation |

Animation creation |

Animations are “movies” played at designated points in the presentation to provide interest and hold the viewer’s attention. One popular animation is to have sales charts that grow into position after their page is entered. Another is having exciting rollover effects on navigation buttons. |
Flash authoring |

CD-ROM burning |
